About the Artist
I am a self taught artist painting and drawing for 25 years. I have lived in the Colorado mountains most of my life and gravitate to the alpine tundra for inspiration. I capture this in my work whether familiar landscapes or the tapestry of nebulae and stars in the cosmos. My other passions include gardening, dancing and traveling. I live in a small community and I love my life here.
ABOUT MY ART:
My medium is currently pastels of the local terrain or charcoal portraits inspired by the early photos of Edward Curtis. My latest excitement is my “cosmic series” including portraits of the sacred feminine energy made manifest, all painted with pastels. My truth tells me we are made of stardust and all life is sacred. These galaxy images come from dreams and meditation.
